Search and recovery is a useful skill as well as a fun challenge. It's the type of activity where you can learn the fundamentals in a few days but not fully master all the nuances even after hundreds of dives. Finding an anchor at 15m depth with limited visibility is very hard.  Recreational divers have accomplished all of this - search and recovery artists, if you will - who have risen to the challenges of these endeavours.
 
 
Prerequisites: PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
eLearning time commitment: 2-4 hours
Total time commitment: 2-3 days (dives must be completed over two days minimum)
Minimum age: 12 years or older
